Advanced Safety & Quality Awareness Program

Course Content

Delivered over six months, the nationally accredited Course in Advanced Safety and Quality Awareness provides participants with an understanding of attitudinal safety awareness, and how it applies to the organisation. Participants will be personally coached throughout the course on developing their attitudinal safety awareness, abilities and acceptance of responsibility for their own and each other's safety in the workplace.

The Course is delivered over five progressive levels

Level 1

Creates and focuses individual awareness, using specialised assessment and coaching, on their personal ability and responsibility for safety

Level 2

Provides peer reinforcement and team commitment through group training of core safety attitudes identified at Level 1 using the Australian Safety Awareness Training Survey (A-SATS)

Level 3

Determines and enhances safety awareness development and commitment with follow-up assessment and more directive coaching

Level 4

Develops and coaches personal initiative and actions to promote safety awareness within the workplace

Level 5

Expands and sustains a continuous improvement mindset and commitment to lead safety and professionalism throughout the organisation
